Joynal is an Apel Bebshayee...

He makes a meagre living by selling red apples..

One fine day, he found an apple which wasn't red - to his utter horror he realized that the apple was in fact SHOBUJ, green, the colour of evil!!!!

To make matters worse, he had fallen in love with Tuntuni, who is a boroloker meye, someone he’d met while being on the receiving end of a road accident!!! Oddly enough, Joynal had suffered no injuries, not even a simple bruise, but Tuntuni nevertheless apologized profusely and offered 10,000 Taka as compensation. Being the egoistic young man he was, Joynal tore the notes in front of the thousand or so people who had gathered and walked away limping…. This moved Tuntuni to the point that she instantly fell in love with him and after a few dance in the rain and few dhishum dhishum maramaris later they decided to marry each other. Chowdhury Shaheb, Tuntuni’s deddy, wasn’t at all impressed and vowed to kill this goriber bachha, aka Joynal!!!!!

What will happen next?

Can Joynal defeat the 300 Spartans that Chowdhury Shaheb has sent to kill him with his bare hands? Or more importantly, can he get rid of the evil green apple that has caused all this harm?

Surely Kalibali couldn’t let this happen and he planned to vanish Inspector Binkurula out of the face of this world.

The next day was Potoldangir Mela and Inspector Binkurula went to the fair with his wife Jorina Box and their two twelve year old sons Dablu and Tablu. They were singing :

Kalibali’s men had attacked and they were going to kill Inspector Binkurula today no matter what. He hid his family in a small tent and fought bravely, single handed with the 30 odd men that were attacking him. He eventually succumbed to death, but not before killing 27 of his opponents. Somehow or other, the 3 other members of the family get detached.

Jorina Box is taken prisoner by Kalibali…..
Dablu is brought up by Kalibali and is made a dangerous Gunda (but he never gets to meet his mom…..)
Tablu goes to a fisherman’s house who brings him up to be a police officer…

12 yrs later…….
By the turn of events, both the brothers unite(mainly by the virtue of the song) and they decide to take vengeance on Kalibali…..

Who’ll win the battle? Kalibali or the brothers?
